The EU-wide market for computers, the Internet and mobile phones will grow by 10 to 13 million new customers each until 2003. These figures do not include those who already possess a PC or a mobile phone and plan a renewal of their current equipment. Of those who are likely to have a computer by the end of 2003, 18% suffer from a severe restriction as regards vision, hearing or dexterity (32% only report no restriction at all). Also, 16% of those who are likely to use the Internet are restricted in that reared (38% no restrictions at all), and 22% of those likely to have a mobile phone are (36% no restrictions at all).
